Valerie LeGrone,
ANP-BC, CNOR
Ms. LeGrone earned her Master of Science in Nursing degree at the University of Texas in Arlington, TX, in 2003 with a major in adult nursing and a minor in nursing education. She received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing Degree at the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, PA, in 1991. Ms. LeGrone’s experience includes nursing, clinical instructor and teacher. She is highly trained to diagnose, assess and treat patients while working in close collaboration with physicians. Further, Ms. LeGrone has taught in the nursing programs at the University of Texas at Arlington and Old Dominion University before accepting a nurse practitioner position with Sentara in 2006. Ms. LeGrone is certified as a Nurse Practitioner by the American Nurses Credentialing Center and is a member of the Virginia Bariatric Society. She has been working in the field of bariatrics since 2010.
